New York Golden Gloves
Tony Santana won two New York Golden Gloves Championships. Santana won the 1973 118lb Sub-Novice Championship defeating James Zimmerman and the 1974 118lb Open Championship defeating Malcolm Driver. In the 1979 New York Golden Gloves Santana was defeated by Martin Parham in the finals for the 135lb Open Championship. Santana trained at the Police Athletic League Gym in Brooklyn, New York.
