Ralph “Chuck” Vona was born on March 17th, 1916 in Neptune, ‘N. J. and started His career in 1933. In 1935 He was rated as an up and coming star in the welterweight ranks. Boxed Red Cochrane twice in 1937 and retired after losing to Steve Belloise. He died in 1964 at an early age.
