Inducted on November 14, 1986
Pete “Ace” Buckley fought as a professional out of Paterson, New Jersey, in the 1920’s and 1930’s and had well over 100 bouts, winning more than 90 per cent of them.
Ace” fought and won over such outstanding boxers as:
Nick DeSalvo, Frank Pompey, San Sanchez, Mickey Greb Johnny Blaine, Tommy Stefano, Pete Menos and Willie Johnson.
We congratulate his entire family and his friends tonight as Pete Ace Buckley is being Inducted Posthumously into The New Jersey Boxing Hall of Fame.
